Tazan host 50 youth tourism Professionals at Ibeshe Private Beach Resort Lagos Nigeria

Mr Ganiyu Balogun Sekoni (Tarzan) CEO of Tarzan Marine Enterprise is hosting 50 Youth Tourism Professionals and Stakeholders at his private beach resort at Ibeshe. The hosting will be inform of camping various young professionals and tourism associations such as FTAN, NTDC, NIWA, LASWA, NTL, WAVECREST, NIHOTOUR, ANJET etc.

The camping is slated for 13th and 14th Nov and will comprise of the following activities: Camp Fire, Boat Cruise, Music, Dance, Food, Board Games, Aerobics, Networking, Training, Tourism and Hospitality Discussions etc.

According to Mr Tarzan, he said I am ready to support the youths as regards tourism. As the patron of Youth Tourism Development Organization (YTDO) Lagos Chapter, Tourism should be encouraged and promoted at all levels both local, state and federal level. I am ready to contribute towards the tourism development of youth tourism in Nigeria because tourism can increase the GDP of a country. At the camp, we are expecting 15 young tourism professionals coming outside Lagos while others are within Lagos. We are going to be discussing on issues facing the industry at the same time having We are looking at tourism now and future, challenges facing the industry and also looking at water transportation as means to ease traffic in Lagos and Nigeria at large.

Ogunkoya Pascal the Public Relation Officer of Youth Tourism Development Organization (YTDO) Lagos State Chapter and a member of the Organizing committee said, we are grateful to Mr Tarzan for hosting us at his private beach. He has been very supportive over the years.

YTDO as a body is a fully Incorporated NGO that is espousing the concept of youth tourism development and promotion as a platform for a sustainable tourism master plan intiative in Nigeria.
