2018 Lagos Tourism Summit

The theme of this year’s Tourism Summit Organised by the Lagos State Ministry of Tourism Art and Culture is “DESTINATION LAGOS: Towards A Sustainable Tourism Driven Economy”.

 

It is scheduled to hold on 16th of April 2018 at the prestigious Eko Hotel and Suites at Victoria Island in Lagos, time is 10am.

Steve Ayorinde the State Commissioner for Tourism, Art and Culture has declared that the forthcoming summit is designed to provide  useful content for the Tourism road-map  that is poised to transform the vision of the State in becoming one of foremost Tourism destinations in Africa.

The summit aligns with the Ambode Lead government”s desire to invest in human Capital and infrastructure in order to encourage creativity and promotion of great minds in the Arts, entertainment, Culture and Tourism in the State.

Lagos Tourism is on the rise. Guest Speaker at the summit is former Ghanaian President John Mahama and Ikechi Uko Chief Organiser of The African Travel Market Exhibition (AKWAABA).

Ikechi Uko says Tourism in Lagos State since last year is aligning itself with set goal , we will find out more at the summit.
